Bursting into the late May bank holiday weekend is Jerk & Beyond.
A free, three-day, family-friendly festival of new Caribbean food, rum cocktails,
live entertainment and kid's zone in Old Spitalfields Market, London.
Created by Sham Mahabir, Jerk & Beyond aims to showcase the diversity of Caribbean food.
A native Trinidadian-turned-Londoner, he launched his first restaurant Limin' in Old Spitalfields Market
last year to wide acclaim.

NEW CARIBBEAN FOOD
We will be serving some of London’s most diverse and innovative food from Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica and Guyana.
Treat your taste buds to some doubles,
wings coated in scotch bonnet mango jam,
curry crab and dumplings, salted cod fritters,
plantain balls and rum cakes.
The Limin’ bar will be home to Plantation Rum's
multi-award winning artisan rums from the great terroirs of the Caribbean: Barbados, Cuba, Panama, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago.
Limin' will be serving lashings of pineapple Daiquiri slushies, Mai Tais and hosting rum tasting sessions of diverse island rums.
Caribbean beers will be flowing as well as
softs from coconut water to sugarcane juice
and premium ginger beer.
